Terms of Service
Last updated October 23, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the DocuFlint website and tools (the "Service"). The Service is provided by DocuFlint ("we", "us"), No 5 Road 10, Odo Ona Elewe, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. When you use the Service you are contracting with DocuFlint. By accessing or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it; otherwise you confirm you are at least 16 years old.
1. The Service
DocuFlint is a software-as-a-service utility suite for working with your own documents and images: merging, splitting and compressing PDFs, resizing and converting images, and AI-assisted Photo Cleanup. Ask PDF answers questions about uploaded documents. Most tools run in your browser; Ask PDF sends your PDF and questions to AI, and Photo Cleanup sends the photo you choose to our AI processing provider to produce the result. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan.
2. Accounts
Some features require an account. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and you are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. In particular you must not:
- use it for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or for spam, or to forge or falsify documents;
- process material that infringes anyone's intellectual property, including altering or removing ownership or rights marks from content you don't have rights to;
- create or handle abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative or otherwise illegal content, or create deceptive depictions of real people (deepfakes);
- interfere with the Service's security — including malware, probing, scraping, circumventing limits, reverse engineering, or attempting to bypass AI safety filters;
- resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.
4. AI tools
- You are responsible for the documents, photos and instructions you submit, for having the rights to edit them, and for how you use the results.
- AI output can be imperfect or inaccurate; review results before relying on them.
- We may filter, refuse or remove requests or outputs and restrict accounts that breach these Terms.
5. Intellectual property
We own the Service and all its intellectual property, including software, documentation and the DocuFlint brand. You keep all rights to files you upload and to the results you create, and grant us only the limited permission needed to process them. Rights holders can report infringing use to legal@docuflint.com; we will investigate and may suspend accounts that infringe repeatedly.
6. Plans, payment and renewal
The Free plan includes 2 guest tasks per day, or 3 when signed in and files up to 10 MB. Paid plans (Single Tool Pass at $6/month; All-Access Pro at $18/month or $144/year) are billed in advance and renew automatically each period until cancelled. Plan changes take effect immediately and are prorated. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellation and refunds are also governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
New visitors who register and purchase within 24 hours of their first visit receive 10% off the first subscription payment only. Standard prices apply on renewal. Existing subscribers are not eligible.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and returns.
7. Cancellation, suspension and termination
You can cancel any time from your account page or by emailing support@docuflint.com; you keep paid access until the end of the current period. See our Refund Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may delete your account at any time from your account page; your account data is then deleted.
8. Service level and disclaimers
We work to keep the Service available, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of important files. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or data), and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Oyo State, Nigeria, unless consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on this page or by email.
